  (1)&(2)Shortcomings of GDP as a measure of well-being:
  1.value of leisure: working more than 10 hours per day (like China) and working about 6 hours per day (like north europe) but earning the same income (same GDP) are totally different.
  2.pollution or other negative effects of production:sustainable development is also very important. but it never be included into GDP.
  3.crime and other social problems: The Somalia has a very high GDP by robbing. In China, the improvement of income creat more and more social problem.
  4.income distribution: the larger disparity of income in China also never be included into GDP. The increase of GDP is never distributed equally.
  (3) It's too easy. We should focus on variance of indicators, like Gini index to measure income inequality, like crime rate to measure crime.
  (4)The change of institution is very very very important.But as mentioned by 林毅夫, the institution is determined by idea. So we should change the way of thinking. The aim of economic growth is to improve the living standard of our country and all people living here.The living standard is the most important, not economic growth.

  GDP是生产总值，所以巨大的项目最能拉动GDP，导致官员好大喜功，虚报数字。
  失业率不够真实，无法反应那些自愿失业的人。而且中国正在城镇化，有许多农民工是黑户，许多！
  通货膨胀率现在基本是用CPI统计的，CPI这个东西一是取样的基础不广泛；二是计算CPI的单位本身就是政府和政府支持的研究院，所以一定不可信。

  gdp是地域概念，不能国民反应真实福利水平.如灾难过后由于重建需要gdp可能反而增长较快。失业率每一个国家的国情不同，难以一概而论.在我国，失业率的统计方法存在不妥之处，记得是不包括农村的数据的，通货膨胀这个嘛，由于只有全面的物价上涨才会得到显著体现，这个数据其实太宽泛了。而cpi呢包涵商品有限，好像只有200还是300多个代表商品，而对于像住房这样既可以归为投资品又是居民消费的重要组成的部分则不在此列。其实书上都有翻一下就可以找到了
